Most folk agree that the definition of a “Long Tail Keyword” is not in the number of keywords, but in its relationship to the keyword. Another term is secondary keywords – E.G. If the Keyword is “Electronic Widgets”, then the long-tails are Blue Electronic Widgets; Small Electronic Widgets; Transistorised Electronic Widgets; etc.
