My understanding of qualifying for sitelinks is:
authoritive content; focused logical site structure; obvious, simple navigation; and powerful incoming links as well as well defined keyword coherence

- so I guess it will help for site-links.

now i understand the importance of /%category%/%postname%/. maybe this also helps to get “sitelinks” in google in the long run? is it true?

Your whole Google position is dependent on G’s perception of the RELEVANCE of your page. This is determined largely by your keyword structure. Your page rank and trust rank are a function of (the inward links) + (relevant content), and links are rated by the anchor text, and the URL.

Therefore: Using categories enables an extra KW. So your url structure looks like this:

siteKW.com/main-KWs/long-tail-keywords/”>anchor-text-LTKs
